Greenville -- Dorothy Anthony Talley, 93, of 120 Roper Mountain Road Ext., passed away Thursday, October 27th, 2016, at Southern Oaks Residential Care. She was formerly of 1515 West Rutledge Avenue in Gaffney, SC.
Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Robert Dickson Talley and the daughter of the late James Anthony and Emma Pierce Anthony. Mrs. Talley worked as an office manager and later as a homemaker and was a lifelong member of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church.
Mrs. Talley is survived by her daughter, Sybil Marie Talley.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence, James N., and William Anthony, and five sisters, Ara Belle Anthony, Fleda Anthony Tennant, Emma Gallman, Frances Anthony, and Mary Anthony.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
