It was my privilage to have had the opportunity to work with Kathy at DSS. She was a friendly easy to get to know person. She always made time to listen and shared a laugh and a smile. She was good at her job and she was better at it because of genuine care of the children she served in her positon. We often talked in the mornings before work and shared stories of our families and had a good laugh before work. She always metioned Tommy Lee and of course Pete. She shared how her brother had died in an auto accident at a young age. She talked of going to her mother's and helping her with extended family memebers. We always left her office with a smile on our face and a chuckle in our heart. It was easy to be her friend because she did not mind standing up for you when you expected it and when you least expected it. I hope as her family you will take comfort in the fact that she touch so many lives in a positive way. I will always remember her smile and easy going temperment. I have been very fortunate to have known such a genuine and caring woman. May God keep you in the palm of his hands as you go through this time of sadness and grief.
