Obituary for Diane Wilkinson Tucker

Blacksburg -- Diane Wilkinson Tucker, 47, of 754 Old Buffalo Church Road, passed away Friday, February 14th, 2014, at Novant Health Gaffney Medical Center.

Born in Alexandria, VA, she was married to Ralph Troy Tucker Sr. and was the daughter of Joseph Egbert Wilkinson and Barbara Brown Wilkinson of Atlanta, GA. She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Tucker is survived by two sons, Richard Evans Martin Jr. of Concord, NC and Ralph Troy Tucker Jr. of Blacksburg; one daughter, Katherine Nicole Tucker, of Greenville, SC; an aunt, Beverly Brown Stevens, of Charlotte; three grandchildren, D'Angelo Martin, Dante Martin, and Donovan Martin, all of Concord, NC, and her grandmother, Mary Fesperman Brown, of Charlotte.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Pettus.

The family will receive friends Sunday, February 16th, 2014, from 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm at Faith Baptist Church of Shelby. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Barry Goodman, Rev. Johnny Owens, and Mr. Troy Tucker officiating. Interment will follow at Cook Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at the residence.
