Obituary for Amanda Millen Valentin

Gaffney -- Amanda Millen Valentin, 43, of 422 Carson Drive, passed away Monday, November 11th, 2013, at her residence.

Born in Union, she was the daughter of the late John William Millen and Caroline Gail Davis.

Surviving Mrs. Valentin are one son, Miguel Cook, of Gaffney; two daughters, Amanda Gail Turner of Blacksburg and Amber Tallent Robinson of Gaffney; three brothers, Chris Cody of Blacksburg, Todd Cody of Gaffney, and Dennis Millen of Gaffney; five sisters, Cindy Barneycastle of Gaffney, Yvonne Crawford of Gaffney, Cindy Petty of Spartanburg, Denora Riddle of Spartanburg, and Tammy Sprouse of Spartanburg; and two grandchildren, Carmyne Faith Willis and Madalyne Grace Willis.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 13th, 2013, from 6:00 pm -7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will he held Thursday, November 14th, 2013, at 2:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with family members officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Ty Turner, Adam Robinson, Chris Cody, Drew Larsen, Justin Leuthiphonh, Ryker Pennington, Stan Barneycastle, and Ray Hammett will serve as pallbearers.
