The Molder

There is so much I could say here about this remarkable woman I don't know where to even begin. Everyone knows how great she was and how much she loved her family and friends. As soon as you entered her home you knew the first thing to expect was a hug from her. I guess if I had to choose one word that would best describe her it would be a molder. I am who I am today because of the part she had in my life. Everyone knows of the stories of her, my cousin Amy, and myself of us three on the beach making Sand Castles. To her, her family and friends were Sand Castles. Regardless of the Sand Castle you were when you first met her, before Carolyn was through with you whether it be a meeting of two minutes or a meeting of a lifetime...... She was going to add something to your Sand Castle. If you were someone who's castle had been destroyed by the waves of the ocean, the evil of the world, she picked up her bucket and added sand, each grain representing love and advice that only she could provide. Then she added water, water representing tears that she shared with you and although you never saw this strong woman cry, her heart ached for you. When she was finished with you she lifted her bucket after placing it down on the shore exposing a creation of which she was so well known for... A Sand Castle. She lifted you up in the darkest of times. I am an example of that. I was completely wiped out a few years ago by the waves which are the evil of the world. I had nothing. She invited me into her home to live with her. She remolded me. Because of her love my dreams have come true. I live near the beach, I am a pianist at a very reputable location in downtown Savannah Ga., Organist at a church here and it is all because of her. The molder. Always on my mind, Forever in my heart... Your Grandson, Jasey.
