Obituary for Elizabeth Ann Robinson (McCarter)

Grover -- Mrs. Elizabeth Robinson, 71, of 105 Spruce St., passed away on April 29, 2019, at Sherrills Ford Hospice House.

Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Charles Robinson and the daughter of the late Wilburn and Sara Harry McCarter. Elizabeth previously worked for FEMA and was a member of First Baptist Church of Grover.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Robinson is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Green and husband, Matthew, of Blacksburg; two step-daughters, Connie Robinson and fiance, Nathan Lanning, of Blacksburg and Cindy Burchil and husband, Jason, of Simpsonville, SC; one sister, Susan Olsen, of Florida; and six grandchildren, Jason Cribb, Sara Green, Connor Green, Brandon Bell, Colin Burchil, and Ariel Deal.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Jason Olsen.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, 2nd of May, 2019, from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will he held on Friday, May 3, 2019, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Grover with Rev. John Barnhardt and Rev. Scott Kierstead officiating. Interment will follow at Grover Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 403 Cleveland Ave, Grover, NC 28073.

The family will be at the residence.
