Obituary for Falon Michelle Cooksey

Lawndale, NC -- Falon Michelle Cooksey, born June 6th 1988, of 307 Jim Cline Road, passed away Monday, June 11th, 2018.

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of Melissa Mullinax Holland and the late Robert Eugene Cooksey. Ms. Cooksey was a member of Cherokee Falls Missionary Fellowship Church.

Her memory will forever be honored by her son Noah Benjamin Pope, (his father Nicholas Pope and step mother Amber Hubbard), her daughter Kenzie Rae Hartsell; two sisters, Graci and Maggie Holland; her step- father, Scott Holland; her grandmother, Dolly Rankin; her grandfather, Leonard Mullinax; her cousins she was very close to, Jaime Cooksey, Lacy Smith, Dianna Cooksey, Kyle Blake, Marcus Ramsey, Brandi Cooksey, Alea Mullinax, Makayla Peace, Luke Mullinax, Devin Ruppe, Andrew Ruppe, and Ayden Ruppe; her uncles, Mike Mullinax, Alex Ruppe, Leonard Mullinax, Jerry Cooksey, and Kurt Crosby; an aunt, Teresa Ramsey, and her very special aunt, Samantha Crosby.

Each one of these people played a very important role in Falon’s life and they will miss her dearly. She adored her kids with all of her heart, they were her life. It’s been a very long 3 years but she will finally be put to rest.

The family will be at the residence for visitation.

Service arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced at a later date.

The family would also like to thank all those who participated in the searches especially the Blacksburg police department, Jamie Ham, Todd Campbell, and all the officers that worked under these two. As well as the CUE group for coming numerous times to aid in searches along with detective Dee Haney and many others from the Gaffney police dept.
