Obituary for Floi Hildred Hannon (Batchler)
Blacksburg -- Floi Hildred Batchler Hannon, 92, of 250 Hopewell Road, passed away Monday, December 28th, 2020, at Cherokee Medical Center.
Born in Blacksburg, she was the widow of Joe Lewis Hannon and the daughter of the late Millage Batchler and Pearl Rippy Batchler. Mrs. Hannon retired from textiles and was a member of Mt. Whitaker Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hannon is survived by one son, Lewis Ray Hannon; four daughters, Lois Mildred Moss, Brenda Ann Mullinax (Eddie), Reba Doris Allison (Tommy), and Lynda Jane Hannon; two brothers, Darvee Batchler and Hayward Batchler; three sisters, Kathleen Blackwelder, Valoree Peterson, and Inez Love; 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her sister, Oveda Ellis.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 1st, 2021, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12:00 pm with Rev. Gregg Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
The family will be at their respective homes.
