Obituary for Gary Allen Burgess
Blacksburg -- Gary Allen Burgess, 62, of 129 Possum Trot Road, passed away Saturday, May 16th, 2020, at his residence.
Born in Oak Hill, West Virginia, he was the son of the Charles Burgess and Norma Treadway Burgess. Mr. Burgess worked as a truck driver.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Burgess is survived by two sons, Brett Simmons and Joshua Causey; two daughters, Kristin Causey and fiance, Chris Brooks, Sr., and Roni Burgess; and two grandchildren, Angel Adams and Chris Brooks, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his son, Shannon Baker, and his sister, Selinda Burgess.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 21st, 2020, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702.
