Gaffney -- Jimmy Lefoy Humphries, 69, of 1377 Ellis Ferry Road, Gaffney, passed away Tuesday, February 12th, 2013 at his residence.

Born in Gaffney, Mr. Humphries was the husband of Cynthia Bahl Humphries of the home and the son of the late William Mutt Humphries and Corrie Peterson Humphries. He worked in construction and was a member of New Heights Baptist Church. He was a member of Granard Lodge #186 AFM and a Hejaz Shriner.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Humphries is survived by two sons, Bob Humphries and wife Tammy and Justin Saunders and fiancee' Amber Varnadore, all of Gaffney; two daughters, Kristi H. Bell and husband Mike of Blacksburg and Kelly H. Brown and husband Kenny of Gaffney; and 8 grandchildren, Wesley Humphries, Emily Bell, Mara Grace Bell, William Brown, Weston Brown, Nevaeh Nieves, Kylie Nieves, and Caiden Nieves. He was preceded in death by brother William Eugene Humphries; sister Patricia LaQuita Humphries; son Aaron Saunders; and granddaughter Andrea Hope Humphries.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 14th, 2013 from 7:00pm - 8:00pm at Gordon Mortuary. Memorial services will be held Friday, February 15th, at 11:00am at Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Sidney Norton officiating.
