Obituary for Kenneth Ray Horne
Blacksburg -- Mr. Kenneth Ray Horne, 71, of 448 N Shelby St, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
Born in Gaffney, he was the widower of Kathy Horne and the son of the late James Cecil Horne and Alda Lee Jones Horne.
Surviving Mr. Horne are a daughter, Tracey Leigh Horne, of Spartanburg; three sons, Kenneth Dale McSwain of Gaffney, Jason Ray Horne of the home, and Brandon Kenneth Horne of the home; two brothers, James Lewis "Dick" Horne of Blacksburg and Billy Gene Horne of Grover; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and special friends, Tiffany Vandergriff, Marvin Girdner, and Crystal Horne.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Robert Horne.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 29th, 2019 from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Gordon Mortuary. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Ray Horne Funeral Fund, c/o Gordon Mortuary, PO Box 428, Blacksburg, SC 29702.
The family will be at their respective homes.
