I extend my sympathy to Shirley and all of Milton's family. Milton and I were classmates during our early education in Hoke County schools, and we graduated in the class of '54 from Hoke High. I was not surprised that Milton became a college professor as he was always an outstanding student. It was a pleasure to renew friendships with Milton and Shirley at our class reunions.

Dr. Glisson – Milton –one time father-in-law – always father figure - his wisdom and warmth communicated through a firm handshake, a smile, a wink and a good story - always made me feel welcomed, connected and uplifted. I know he had the same effect on every other person who was fortunate to encounter him, be taught by him, share a laugh with him and be loved by him. His positive spirit shines on in heaven and with all of us still on earth.
