Obituary for Michael Henry Cheatham
Blacksburg -- Michael Henry Cheatham, 60, passed away Friday, January 8th, 2021, at Atrium Health Cleveland.
Born in Gastonia, he was the husband of Marie Travis Cheatham and the son of the late Hayden Cheatham and Virginia Wiggins Cheatham. He enjoyed fishing, race cars, and WWE Wrestling.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Cheatham is survived by two sons, Leroy Conner of Gastonia and Shaun Travis of Blacksburg; one daughter, Miranda Nelms (Joshua) of Blacksburg; two brothers, James Cheatham of Clover and Dwight Cheatham of Gastonia; four sisters, Ruby Kirksey of Lincolnton, NC, Sharon Styles of Clover, Lisa Cheatham of Gastonia, and Annette Cheatham of Clover; six grandchildren, Brandon Conner, Phillip Kirksey, Obadiah Nelms, Shawn Michael Gaydon, Joshua Nelms Jr. and Ariel Nelms; and one sister-in-law, Flora Brown.
Memorial services will be held on February 13, 2021 at 5;00 pm at his residence at 236 East Jones Street in Blacksburg, SC.
The family will be at their respective homes.
