Obituary for Richard Lee Dula Sr.
Blacksburg -- Richard Lee Dula Sr. passed away Sunday, January 3rd, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Born in Gastonia, he was the son of the late Homer Lee Dula and Ruby Philbeck Dula. Mr. Dula was a member of Godcan Baptist Church, Gastonia, NC.
Mr. Dula is survived by one son Randy Dula (Nikita); three brothers, Billy Dula, Wayne Dula, and Larry Dula; and two granddaughters, Kasie Leann Dula and Lana Sunshine Dula.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Richard Lee Dula Jr.
Memorial services will be on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at New Buffalo Baptist Church, 1010 Lavender Road, Grover, NC at 2:00 pm with Rev. Michael Rote officiating.
For the safety of all concerned, the family requests that masks be worn, social distancing be observed, and temperatures will be taken.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cherokee Children's Home, 215 Allison Drive, Gaffney, SC 29341.
