Obituary for Richard Jay Moore
Gaffney -- Richard Jay Moore, 67, of 106 Ellis Ferry Ave Apt 107, passed away on Saturday, August 8th, 2020, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Jerome Moore Sr. and Monica Turner. Mr. Moore previously worked for the Gaffney Police Department, retired as a truck driver, served in the United States Army, and was of Baptist faith. He is survived by his caretaker of several years, Natasha Pearson, and many friends.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 12th, 2020, at 11:00 am at Frederick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the graveside.
The family will be at their respective homes.
