Blacksburg -- Robert Dean Wisher, 77, of 141 McKee Drive, passed away Tuesday, October 1st, 2019, at Wendover Hospice Home surrounded by his family.

Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Cindy Montgomery Wisher and the son of the late Gerald Wisher and Elmer Wright Wisher. Dean previously worked at Celanese in Earl, NC and was a member of Broad River Baptist Church. He loved hunting, fishing, and cooking.
Dean is survived by his wife of 55 years, Cindy Wisher; one son, Tim Wisher and wife, Trena; one daughter, Summer Wisher Harrison and husband, Clayton; one sister, Wanda Hodge and husband, Landrum; one granddaughter, AbbeKate Wisher and one grandson, Waylon Harrison.
Dean was preceded in death by his stillborn infant boy, his parents, his sister, Varita Wisher, and his brothers, Don and Johnny Wisher.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 4th, 2019, from 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm at Broad River Baptist Church, 420 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00 pm with Rev. Chad Wisher officiating with speakers Mr. Cecil Bell, Mr. Johnny Hulsey, Ms. Geraldine Crank and Mr. Ralph Lee. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens.
The family would to extend special thanks to the caretakers at Wendover Hospice House.
The family will be at the residence of Tim Wisher, 1045 Ninety-nine Island Road, Blacksburg, SC.
