Obituary for Shirlee J. Brown
Gaffney, South Carolina--Mrs. Shirlee Brown, 61 of 184 Gulley Road, Gaffney, South Carolina passed away on March 6, 2019 at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.
She was the wife of Mr. Randy Brown and the daughter of the late Howard and Thelma James.
Mrs. Brown enjoyed reading the Bible, spending time with her family, gardening, taking trips to the mountains and cooking.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Billy Parris, Shane Parris and Jason Brown. One daughter, Chasity Brown. Two brothers, Roger James(Kay) and Larry James(Linda), two sisters, Pam Hawkins(Jackie) and Susan Patton(Dean). Eight Grandchildren, Colin Brown, Olivia Brown, Neely Brown, Billy Parris III, Natalie Parris, Elina Parris, Riley Parris, and Hollie Hughey.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney. Funeral Servies will follow at 3:00 PM with the Rev. Dean Patton officiating. Interment will follow at the Oaklamd Cemetery in Gaffney, South Carolina. Joseph Morales, Allan James, Elliot James, Dylan James, Johnny Ray Brown, and Ayden James will serve as pallbearers.
The family will be at the residence.
