Obituary for Ralph Thomas Greene

Gaffney -- Ralph Thomas Greene, 74, of 404 East Oneal Street, Gaffney, passed away Thursday, May 9th, 2013 at the residence of his daughter at 131 Pacolet Highway.

Born in Blacksburg, Mr. Greene was the son of the late Tom Greene and Mary Jo Parker Greene. He worked as an A operator at a fiber plant and was of the Baptist faith. He was a former member of Woodmen of the World and the National Rifle Association.

Mr. Greene is survived by three sons, Jeffrey Ralph Greene, Alan Cameron Greene, and Charles Scott Greene, all of Gaffney; five daughters, Pamela Renee Green of York, Kimberly Ruth Ettlemyer, Mary Denise Trexler, Wendy Leona McCullough and Jeanne Alyson Peterson, all of Gaffney; one sister, Evelyn Stewart of Myrtle Beach; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brother Joe C. Greene, sister Millie Slusser, and grandaughter Leah Lee McCullough.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 11th, 2013 from 3:00pm - 4:00pm at Gordon Mortuary. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 11th, at 4:00pm at Mountain View Cemetery in Blacksburg.

The family will be at the daughter's residence at 131 Pacolet Highway, Gaffney, SC.
