Obituary for Charlie Eugene Lowery Sr.

Gaffney -- Charlie Eugene Lowery, Sr., 57, of 94 McArthur Street, Gaffney, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, Mr. Lowery was the husband of Judy Williams Lowery of the home and the son of Mary Ethel Messer Love and of the late Clarence Trandol Scott Lowery. He worked in the textile industry and was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Lowery is survived by one son, Charlie Eugene Lowery, Jr. of Gaffney; two daughters, Summer Nicole Feairheller and Renee Feairheller, both of King of Prussia, PA; two brothers, David Messer and Clarence Arthur Messer, both of Gaffney; two sisters, Bonnie Love of Cowpens and Elizabeth Caraballo of Gaffney; and one grandchild, Faith Marie Feairheller of King of Prussia, PA. He was preceded in death by a son, Andy Lee Lowery.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 11th, 2013 from 3:00pm - 4:00pm at Thompson Chapel Baptist Church, 250 Thompson Chapel Road, Cowpens, SC 29330. Memorial services will be held Monday, March 11th, at 4:00pm at Thompson Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. David Frost, Rev. Edwin Huggins, and Rev. Roger Ham officiating.
