Obituary for Thomas Earl Mullinax

Gaffney -- Thomas Earl Mullinax, 67, of 122 Thompson Lane, passed away Monday, January 6th, 2014, at the Hospice House of Laurens County.

Born in Gaffney, he was married to Jackie Sue Smith Mullinax and was the son of the late Daniel Paul Mullinax and Corrie Lucille Grubb Mullinax. He worked as a cloth inspector at Cherokee Finishing and was of the Baptist faith. He also was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved being with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Mullinax is survived by two sons, Steven Thomas Mullinax and wife, Trisha Dawn, and Jamie Lee Mullinax, all of Gaffney; a daughter, Rebecca Thomas and husband, Kenneth, of Gaffney; a brother, Leonard Mullinax, of Gaffney; and eleven grandchildren, Chad Evans, Taylor Evans, Sonya Evans, Kennedy Thomas, Ashley Mullinax, Tyler Mullinax, Jacob Mullinax, Bethany Mullinax, Thomas Mullinax, Lauren Mullinax, and Jaimey Leigh Mullinax.

The family will receive friends and have a celebration of his life Thursday, January 9th, 2014, from noon - 2:00 PM at Gordon Mortuary.

The family will be at the residence.
