Residents in the D&E apartments where Gene lived are sad beyond words because it's so painful to lose him.He fit in so good and everyone "thought the world of him".He never hesitated a moment if a neighbor needed help.He was gifted with such a great sense of humor,keeping us laughing every time we talked to him.Many,many times we gathered on Terry's porch when it cooled off and we all enjoyed his parts of our conversations.Thankful we were allowed to know him and he will be missed tremendously.Taking comfort in knowing we'll see "Our Buddy" again.
