Obituary for Wanda Dale Childers (Childers)

Blacksburg -- Wanda Dale Childers, 60, of 507 W Pine Street, passed away Sunday, November 24th, 2019.

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Harold Childers and Faye Jenkins.

Mrs. Childers was survived by one daughter, Tiffany Horne, of Easley; one son, Anthony Blake Childers, of Blacksburg; one sister, Teresa Sikes, of Bessemer City, NC; and one brother, George Childers, of Inman.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, November 27th, 2019, at 2:00 pm at Mountain View Cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes.

The Blacksburg location of Gordon Mortuary is serving the Horne family.

It saddened me to hear about Dale passing .She was one of the first friends I made whenever I moved on pine st in the 70 ‘s and we we’re always close she stayed many nights with us in our younger days .our family loved Dale and her brother and sister . Dale will be missed by all who loved her !!! She’s has got her Angel wings And she can walk the streets of gold in heaven!!!! To be absent from the body is to be in the presence of the Lord !!!

I am saddened to hear of Dale's passing. It was an honor to know her growing up and graduating with her in the class of 1977. She was such a beautiful woman and had a wonderful smile!! God Bless the family as I am sure she will be missed.
