The beginning of Cindy and Butch

When Cindy and I and my younger sister Becky were teenagers we were pals for a while (spent the nights together sometimes) and even went to Virginia Beach, Va. to see her oldest sister, Gail and her family....that was a blast cause Gail's husband was great fun to be around. Anyway, one day (I think Sunday) Cindy came over and the 3 of us decided to ride around on the dirt roads. We had not gone very far when this motorcycle started following us. The faster we went, the closer he stayed. Cindy finally told us that it we Butch Harry and that 'she didn't like him but he was trying to get her to go out with him'. He took a short cut that day to try to 'cut us off'. We beat him but he still stayed on our tails. Cindy told us that she made a mistake at the crossroad and waved at him - that made him more determined. I told her we should stop and tell him to quit. When we stopped, he pulled up right by my window and said 'You sure made me eat a lot of dust'. I was oldest and driving (good example for Cindy and Becky???). Anyway we talked to him for a while and I think Cindy gave him her number or something. The next thing we knew, they were a tight couple and married I think within a year or so and were together and happy til the end. Very sweet memories of my favorite cousin, Cindy!!!
